Overview
We want you to feel confident when booking. This policy explains when refunds apply to sessions and notebook orders.
Session cancellations
More than 48 hours before your appointment: Full refund of any deposit or prepayment.
Within 48 hours of your appointment: 50% refund. The remaining balance covers reserved studio time.
No-show without notice: No refund. You may reschedule once within thirty days for a ₩30,000 rebooking fee.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once at no charge if you notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Subsequent changes are treated as a cancellation and new booking.
Notebook orders
Before production begins: Full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of ordering.
After production begins: Notebooks are custom-made. Once binding starts, orders are non-refundable. If we produce the wrong cover colour or section layout due to our error, we will replace the notebook at no charge.
Shipping damage: Contact us within seven days of delivery with photographs. We will replace damaged volumes.
Partial refunds during sessions
If you end a session early by choice, no partial refund is issued. If we must end a session early due to studio circumstances (power outage, staff illness), you receive a prorated refund or complimentary rescheduling — your choice.
Deposits
Some extended or quote-based bookings require a 30% deposit. Deposits are refundable under the cancellation timeframes above.

- Rebooking fees
- Rush binding surcharges once work has started
- Domestic postage (unless the parcel is lost or destroyed in transit)
Refund method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method — bank transfer for domestic clients. Processing takes five to ten business days after approval.
Work already started
If you cancel after we have begun transcribing exchange history or preparing custom dividers for your notebook, the non-refundable portion equals the labour completed, up to the full session or order fee.
How to request a refund
Email hello@webhemlockpath.click with your name, booking date, and reason. We respond within three business days.
